Policies

Pet Sitting:

 

Payment & Fee Policies:

  • We accept cash, credit, or checks. 
  • New clients must pay in advance (at the new client meeting).  
  • Established clients may leave payment for pickup at the first visit of a trip or pay before they leave. 
  • $5 surcharge applies on the following holidays
    • New Year's Eve
    • Easter
    • Memorial Day
    • July 4th 
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving
    • Christmas Eve
    • Christmas Day
  • Holiday cancellations: Please understand that pet sitting services receive more requests for reservations than they an handle during these holiday time periods and we may have turned away other clients. If you cancel seven days or less before any listed holiday, you will be charged for half of the reserved visits.  
  • Clients returning home early will be required to pay for the reserved bookings because the spot was held open for you.
  • $15 key pickup & return fee (no charge if your key is kept on file)
  • Returned check fee = $30. Returned check balance and fees must be paid by cash or credit within three days of notification of return. 

 

Dog Walking:

Payment & Fee Policies:

  • We accept cash, credit, or checks. 
  • New clients must pay in advance for their first week of visits (at the new client meeting).  Established clients may leave payment (or be invoiced for credit payments) weekly or receive a 5% discount by paying for the month in advance.  
  • Your walker may arrive within a one-hour time window of your requested time. They will always attempt to arrive as requested, but we cannot guarantee a specific time due to the potential for unexpected delays throughout the day. 
  • Cancellations: 
    • Snow day? Sick Day? Walks can be cancelled by text, email, or phone.
    • Walks that are cancelled at least one hour in advance will be credited for the next booking. 
  • Returned check fee = $30. Returned check balance and fees must be paid by cash or credit within three days of notification of return.
